Depth-appropriate architecture conversations that surface trade-off thinking, scaling awareness and the ability to explain a design to other people. We calibrate the difficulty to the seniority of the role — a mid-level design round asks different things than a staff-level one — and we capture the specific decisions a candidate made, not just a vague sense that they “seemed solid.”
